David De Alva (recording artist) was born in Madrid, Spain, while his parents were on tour with the internationally renowned Pilar Lopez Flamenco Dance Company. David began his studies at the age of ten with protégées of Segovia and the Romero Brothers. Later, he continued his flamenco guitar training with inspired by Paco de Lucia, Manitas de Plata, Carlos Montoya and Sabicas. His talents have brought special excitements to concerts in New York, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Spain, San Francisco and many others. During his extensive tours abroad, his music was also inspired by Brazilian Jazz, South American and Mediterranean rhythms to create a unique blend of Flamenco and World Fusion style music.
